The Disc Golf Pro Tour wrapped its season at Ivy Hill again, and the finale didn’t stay close for long. Gannon Buhr won the 2026 Powerball Cup at −46 (232), nine strokes clear of Ricky Wysocki (−37). It’s Buhr’s second DGPT Championship after 2024, and it paid $50,000, part of a record purse the DGPT billed at $350,000.

Those numbers come from the PDGA event page for #96421 (52 players across MPO and FPO). As of Oct 19 the page reads “Event report received; official ratings pending,” so the scores are set but ratings aren’t final yet.

How the format works

The Powerball Cup is four rounds with no cut, but players start with strokes earned from the season standings. Per the DGPT’s preview, the top MPO seed began at −7 and the top FPO seed at −6, and those strokes count in the final total. That’s why the winning numbers look so big.

Buhr’s week

Buhr opened with back-to-back 55s, then shot 62 and 59 to close. Isaac Robinson was third at −34 and his brother Ezra Robinson fourth at −31. USDGC champ Calvin Heimburg, last year’s DGPT Championship winner, finished T8 at −23.

A Finnish one-two in FPO

Silva Saarinen won FPO at −25 (258) and also took home $50,000. Fellow Finn Eveliina Salonen was second at −16, and Ohn Scoggins and defending champion Holyn Handley tied for third at −13.

Kentucky on the board

Zach Arlinghaus of Edgewood finished 30th in MPO at −3 (275), and he saved his best for last with a closing 62.
