Maple Hill got the kind of weekend that turns a major-league scorecard into a weather report. The 2026 MVP Open x OTB was shortened to three rounds after severe weather disrupted the schedule. The Disc Golf Pro Tour’s competition plan made the adjustment explicit: the tour prepared shortened layouts and a Monday-contingency plan so the event could be completed safely.
Across the three completed rounds, Ricky Wysocki took MPO at −12 and Sintija Klezberga took FPO at −5. Those are the reported winning totals on the PDGA event report — no four-round fiction, no padded finish, just the result the weather allowed Maple Hill to record.
Wysocki keeps the top line clean
Wysocki’s card finished at 51, 54, and 62 for a 167 total against the three-round par of 179. Jesse Nieminen finished second at −11, with Evan Smith third at −9. The margin at the top was one stroke, which is about as much room as a weather-shortened playoff stop leaves anybody.
Klezberga answers in FPO
Klezberga posted rounds of 58, 58, and 60 for a 176 total against a three-round par of 181. Eveliina Salonen and Holyn Handley tied for second at −1. The FPO lead held through the final completed round, giving Klezberga the first-place line at the top of a leaderboard altered by wind, rain, and the clock.
Kentucky on the board
Zach Arlinghaus of Edgewood finished 12th in MPO at −3. That is the Kentucky result the PDGA sheet supports here: a solid place on a world-class three-round leaderboard, without turning a weather story into something it was not.
What the weather changed
The DGPT’s published weekend plan said the event could move between an 18-hole round, a 13-hole layout, and a 9-hole layout depending on weather and daylight, with Monday authorized if the final round or a necessary tiebreaker could not be completed. The event report now records three rounds for both divisions. The weather did not erase the tournament; it changed the size of the test.
